Abakar Mahamat, the founder of Telemedan, recognized this critical barrier. The system is designed to function even with unreliable internet, storing patient data locally and synchronizing it when connectivity is restored. For those without internet, an Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) service facilitates appointment booking and access to health information.
