In his statement, Sheeran clarified that Macklemore's contract was with the promoter, Messina Touring Group, and not directly with him. Sheeran also shared his personal stance on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, calling it a "human tragedy" that causes suffering on both sides.
