Former two-time world champion Anthony Joshua made a dramatic comeback after surviving two knockdowns to defeat Kristian Prenga by technical knockout in the second round. The non-title heavyweight bout took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.

This victory is seen as a crucial step for Joshua in setting up a highly anticipated showdown against fellow British boxer Tyson Fury. It also marked Joshua's return to the ring for the first time since a severe car crash in Nigeria in December, an incident that resulted in the loss of two close friends and left him with injuries.

Joshua's resilience was tested early in the fight. He was knocked down by an uppercut less than 30 seconds into the first round and, though he beat the count, appeared shaken. Prenga then managed to knock Joshua down a second time. However, Joshua rose again before the end of the round and managed to survive until the bell.

Joshua unleashed a powerful series of punches, culminating in a right hook that sent Prenga through the bottom of the ropes, securing the knockout victory.
