Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Levi Kitchen, the reigning 2026 Supermotocross 250 Class World Champion, has expressed a desire to transition to professional tournament bass fishing once his motocross career concludes.

Kitchen recently participated in the Bassmaster Classic Pro-Am event, an experience he described as "eye-opening." This foray into competitive angling suggests a potential future career path for the young motocross star, diverging significantly from the high-octane world of dirt bike racing.

The Supermotocross champion teamed up with professional angler Tristan McCormick for the Pro-Am event. While the specifics of his competitive fishing aspirations remain to be fully detailed, Kitchen's involvement in such a high-profile event indicates a serious interest in the sport beyond a casual hobby.

Kitchen's participation in the Bassmaster Classic Pro-Am, a significant event in the professional bass fishing circuit, underscores his commitment to exploring this new passion. The experience provided him with a firsthand look at the competitive landscape of tournament fishing.

Details surrounding Kitchen's retirement timeline from Supermotocross are not yet public. However, his active engagement in exploring bass fishing suggests that his transition may be on the horizon. The professional fishing world, much like motocross, demands dedication, skill, and strategic planning.

Angling as a professional sport requires a different set of skills and training compared to Supermotocross. While both demand focus and precision, the environment and physical exertion are vastly different. Kitchen's willingness to step into this new arena highlights his adaptability and competitive spirit.

Further details on Kitchen's future in professional bass fishing are expected to emerge as his Supermotocross career progresses. His unique career pivot has already generated interest among fans of both sports.

Fans and industry observers will be watching to see how Kitchen balances his current racing commitments with his burgeoning interest in professional bass fishing and what the future holds for this multi-talented athlete.
