Twin Falls, Idaho – Two of the three victims killed in a shooting at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho, have been identified by their families. Ashley Garibay, an aspiring manager, and Christopher Claunch, who had recently overcome alcoholism, were among those who lost their lives in the Saturday rampage.

The suspected shooter, 24-year-old Chad Williams, died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after two armed individuals intervened, according to police. A third victim has not yet been publicly identified. Seven other people sustained injuries during the incident, with two in critical condition.

Garibay, an associate for the fast-food chain, had traveled from California to assist in training staff at the newly opened Twin Falls location. Her family described her as a devoted daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, and friend, whose "life was taken from us far too soon." They added that she "lit up a room with her bright smile and a laugh that was contagious."

Relatives shared that Garibay began her career at In-N-Out in Stockton, California, and developed a passion for the company. Her dream was to one day manage a store, and her family stated she "left this world doing what she loved to do."

Claunch, a 59-year-old California native, had relocated to Idaho three decades ago. His sister, Kimberly Castaneda, told The New York Times that Claunch had worked at the Renaissance Ranch Recovery Center in Rupert, Idaho. Castaneda also shared that Claunch had achieved sobriety two years prior, following a long struggle with alcoholism.

According to Castaneda, Claunch's first wife had passed away in a car crash just three months after their wedding, a tragedy that preceded his struggles with addiction. He was remembered by his sister as someone who had found peace and stability after overcoming his personal challenges.

The shooting occurred at a busy In-N-Out Burger location, prompting a swift response from law enforcement and emergency services. The identities of the third victim and further details regarding the motive and circumstances of the shooting are still pending release by authorities.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing. The community of Twin Falls has expressed shock and grief over the tragedy, with vigils and support efforts being organized for the victims and their families.
