Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Saturday resulted in the deaths of two Palestinians and injuries to at least three others, including a strike on a medical supply warehouse within the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital compound.

The incident at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah involved an Israeli drone strike that targeted a tent used for storing medical supplies. The hospital director confirmed that three people were injured in the attack, which occurred inside the hospital grounds. The Israeli military acknowledged striking a target within the hospital compound, stating without providing evidence that a Hamas commander was targeted.

In separate incidents, another Israeli drone strike in Gaza City's Tal al-Hawa neighborhood reportedly killed one person and injured two, according to the Palestinian Wafa news agency. Earlier in the day, Israeli gunfire in the village of al-Musaddar, east of Deir el-Balah, claimed the life of one individual. Additionally, an Israeli quadcopter dropped an explosive device near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, according to hospital officials.

These recent attacks come amid an escalation of Israeli military actions across Gaza in recent days, despite a reported "ceasefire." Gaza's Health Ministry has documented a significant increase in casualties, reporting the recovery of 10 bodies over the past 48 hours, with nine newly killed and one found under rubble, along with 18 wounded individuals.

The ministry also highlighted that numerous victims remain trapped beneath destroyed buildings or on roads inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense crews. Since the "ceasefire" between Israel and Hamas took effect in October of the previous year, the Health Ministry states that 1,313 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli attacks.

Further complicating the situation, the Palestinian Centre for Missing and Forcibly Disappeared Persons reported on Saturday that between 4,000 and 5,000 Palestinians are believed to be missing and potentially trapped under rubble in Gaza. The center also indicated that between 2,500 and 3,000 individuals may have been subjected to forced disappearance during the ongoing conflict.

An analytical study of 317 cases by the center revealed indicators suggesting a possible broader pattern of enforced disappearances. Out of the cases examined, 302, representing 95.27 percent, showed characteristics warranting further investigation into this possibility.

These events underscore the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with concerns rising over civilian casualties and the impact on essential medical infrastructure amidst continued military operations.
