Israeli forces shot and killed a 29-year-old Palestinian man in the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus, on Tuesday, according to Palestine’s Wafa news agency. The Israeli military claimed its forces killed an armed man who attempted to attack soldiers.

Following the incident, Israeli forces reportedly withheld the man's body. Security sources told Wafa that Israeli forces had besieged the home of the deceased, identified as Abdul Karim Muhammad Salem Khader, and targeted it with an Energa antitank rifle grenade. After raiding Aqraba and surrounding the building, Israeli forces allegedly used a bulldozer to demolish sections of his home.

The killing occurred amid widespread Israeli raids and arrests across the occupied West Bank. Wafa reported that Israeli forces arrested at least 10 people in Dura, near Hebron, including Fayez al-Jabari and his son, as well as former prisoners Ayoub al-Awawda and Montaser Shadid.

In the village of Khallit al-Dabe in Masafer Yatta, southern Hebron, Israeli forces have begun demolishing homes, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported. Israeli forces also closed all entrances to the town of Anata and the Shu’fat refugee camp in occupied East Jerusalem, banning residents from entering or exiting, according to Wafa.

Jerusalem’s governor, Adnan Ghaith, stated that the raids in Anata are part of ongoing Israeli efforts to impose a siege on northeast Jerusalem and that forces are preventing ambulances from reaching the injured. In Anata, Israeli forces also bulldozed main water lines, raising concerns about residents’ access to water.

Raids in Shu’fat refugee camp were described by an Al Jazeera correspondent as similar to recent violent operations conducted by Israeli forces in Qalqilya. These actions contribute to a broader pattern of Israeli military activity in the occupied West Bank.
