Russian forces launched a ballistic missile attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, on Wednesday, killing at least three people and wounding 20 others, officials reported. The strike occurred as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confronts a period of domestic political pressure.

Explosions were heard across several Kyiv districts shortly after midnight, shattering windows, setting off car alarms, and damaging infrastructure.
