Police investigating a fatal house fire in Grangetown, near Middlesbrough, have released one of two men arrested on suspicion of murder. A 31-year-old man has been released with no further action, while a 23-year-old man continues to be questioned by detectives.

Valentina, known as Tina, was spending the summer holidays at the house and had been seen dancing in the living room the night before the fire. Kirton expressed her grief, calling her granddaughter a “cute little kid” and deeming the tragedy a “disgrace.”
