Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce exchanged vows on Friday, July 3, transforming the iconic Madison Square Garden into an intimate wedding venue, according to "Good Morning America" co-anchors who attended the ceremony.

The couple, who have not publicly commented on their wedding details, managed to create a personal atmosphere within the 19,500-seat arena, making it feel like a familiar gathering rather than a star-studded event.

"It really was intimate," Robin Roberts said Saturday on a special July Fourth edition of GMA. "They had their neighbors, their high school friends. It was like any wedding that you would attend." George Stephanopoulos added that the couple wrote their own vows, which were penned in small books.

Michael Strahan described the ceremony as "their dream wedding and it really was amazing." The event, reportedly attended by approximately 1,000 guests, was officiated by actor and comedian Adam Sandler, as confirmed by a representative for Swift.

Swift's brother, Austin, served as her man of honor, and Kelce's brother, Jason, was his best man, with these two being the sole members of the wedding party. The celebration was scheduled to last from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m., according to sources who spoke with ABC News previously.

Stephanopoulos noted the remarkable transformation of Madison Square Garden, typically home to the New York Knicks and Rangers, into "a garden of its own." He elaborated, "as intimate as it could possibly be given that it was Madison Square Garden. Really this garden inside the Garden. Just so beautiful." The co-anchor expressed how difficult it was to imagine such a large venue hosting a wedding with such prominent figures feeling so personal and intimate.

Roberts further commented on the transformation, stating, "You couldn't recognize it." In recognition of the marriage, MSG displayed a sign that read “JUST T MARRIED,” a nod to the couple's first names.

Beyond the GMA anchors, celebrity attendees reportedly included Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Benson Boone, Ethan Hawke, Abby Wambach, and Jason Sudeikis. NFL stars such as Matthew Stafford, Baker Mayfield, Cooper Kupp, and Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammates were also present. Music legend Stevie Nicks was reported to have performed at the event.
